Privacy Policy
Last updated: [[TO FILL: date]]
This policy explains what [[TO FILL: company name and address]] collects when you use TailyTales and what we do with it.
What we collect
- A photo of your pet and a photo of you (the owner), which you upload.
- Your email address, which we ask for at checkout.
- The portraits we create from your photos.
How we use it
- We store your photos in order to make your portraits.
- We use your email address to deliver your order and so you can find it later.
No accounts
TailyTales has no user accounts. We do not ask you to create a password.
Payments
Payment is handled by a payment processor. Your card details go to the processor, so we never see or store your card number.
AI image generation
Portraits are generated by a third-party AI image provider. To create them, we send your photos to that provider, which receives them.
Analytics and error tracking
We use PostHog for product analytics and Sentry for error reports. Events carry no email, name, photo or IP address. Until you choose, analytics runs without cookies or anything stored on your device. If you accept the banner, we also store an anonymous identifier and record sessions with form fields and photos hidden. If you decline, nothing is stored. Your choice is saved in your browser, and clearing site data asks you again.
